Hotspots

Need internet access at home or on the go? Edwards River Public Library District now offers Wi-Fi hotspots for checkout!

A hotspot is a small, portable device that lets you connect to the internet using a wireless signal.

With a hotspot, you can:

  • Get internet access on your phone, tablet, laptop, or other devices
  • Use it anywhere with a cell signal — at home, in the car, or on the go
  • Connect multiple devices at once

Hotspot Checkout Details:

  • Free to borrow
  • 7-day loan period
  • No renewals
  • Overdue Fine: $5 per day
  • Available to Edwards River Public Library District cardholders only

Hotspots must be kept in a temperature-controlled environment. Please do not leave in a vehicle or outside for an extended period of time as this can damage the device. Overcharging the battery can also cause damage to the device.

If a hotspot is overdue, the service will be cut off and the user’s library privileges will be suspended. Three (3) late returns for hotspot checkouts will result in being permanently banned from borrowing hotspot devices.

Library offers portable hotspots: 1-week checkout, $5/day overdue, no renewals. Connect devices anywhere with a cell signal.
